I get by with a little help from my friends

Hey all!

It’s a truly beautiful day in Eugene and I’m feeling very grateful for the team of people who helped (and are still helping me) to get this business off the ground and running!

Leda Hermecz from F.I.R.S.T is a biggy.  She has been a much needed resource for all things in the baking world, and especially for helping me think big picture on sustainability for Elegant Elephant. We recently finished a video (thanks to Dylan Keim) on Leda’s business that features us. Thank you lady Leda!

Here is the video:

Next I would like to talk about the very amazing Jessica Kantola of Felicity Design. Jessica took my basic idea and turned it into a far superior reality and classic design for my logo. I mean just look at it, beautiful!Image

She also is the sister of Anne Nunn of Anne Nunn Photography , who photographed all of my food. This is one talented family!

The next big thanks goes out to my parents & in-laws, and friends. Wow. You have been so helpful with support and encouragement, and taking care of our precious little one so I can bake. Thank you, thank you!

And lastly to my husband, Evan, who if you hadn’t been so adamant about “how ridiculously good” my cookies were this would never have happened. Thanks, I love you.Image

Okay if I forgot to mention you, my bad. But THANKS for helping Elegant Elephant Baking Co go from a dream to a bakery!

Oh and on top of this love fest- we have expanded to 3 new places that now have our product. Chicken Bonz, Greater Goods, and Whirled Pies. YAY! Go check em out and grub on some gluten free goodies

  1. Starting a business takes courage and persistence! Way to go, Jessie

  2. You can taste the love in her baked goods. Betcha can’t eat just one! (PB chocolate chip cookie, that is)
